Creating API Packages
A Package is a collection of Plans and is used to manage similar Plans with the objective of understanding usage patterns by different types of developers as well as aid in the upgrading/downgrading process. After creating a Package, you can set the notification settings and the key properties, both of which will be applicable to all Plans associated with the Package. After a Package is created, multiple Plans can be created in the Package.

On the Cloud API Management dashboard Get Started page, click API Packages.
Or
Navigate to Design > Packages. This opens the Manage your APIs with API Packages page.

Click New API Package. The New API Package pop-up window opens.

In Package Name, enter the name of the package. The name can be modified later.
noteThe Package name field supports only letters (A–Z, a–z), numbers (0–9), and the special characters
_ - . :. Any other characters are not supported. -
In Description, enter the package description. The Package description should state the purpose of the Package. You can also enter information about the possible usage of the Package.

In Organization, select the name of the Organization that owns the package.

Click Save and close or Save and continue.
